American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai

The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, known as the "Voice of American Business" in China, is the largest and fastest growing American Chamber in the Asia Pacific region.  Founded in 1915, AmCham Shanghai was the third American Chamber established outside the United States. As a non-profit, non-partisan business organization, AmCham Shanghai is committed to the principles of free trade, open markets, private enterprise and the unrestricted flow of information.

American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand

Formed in 1956, the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) has almost 700 company members which comprise of over 2000 professionals including companies, non-profit organizations, and individuals. AMCHAM provides American businesses and businesspersons with a venue for the exchange of ideas and for identifying common purposes to pursue.


The ASEAN CSR Network was established to promote and strengthen the practice of Corporate Social Responsibility across Southeast Asia. In support of the ASEAN’s vision of sustainable socio-economic development in the region, ACN promotes CSR best practices and international standards, conducts capacity-building activities, and provides opportunities for networking and exchange.

Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia

BEIM is a non-profit organization committed to promote ethics through education, inculcation and nurturing of values, such as honesty, fairness, integrity and self-regulation among businesses. In 2007, BEIM designed and produced The Code of Business Ethics Malaysia under the auspices of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Malaysia. BEIM also bestows the Malaysian Business Ethics Excellence Awards jointly with the same ministry on a biennial basis to the business community since 2006.

Business in the Community is a unique movement in the United Kingdom of over 830 member companies. Its purpose is to inspire, challenge, engage and support business in continually improving its positive impact on society.

The Centre for Social Markets (CSM) is an independent thinktank, which is based in India with three offices and the UK. Community Business is a not-for-profit dedicated to advancing Corporate Social Responsibility. Our mission is clear: to lead, inspire and support companies to improve their positive impact on people and communities. Our members represent leaders of industry across many sectors. We offer a number of platforms for them to develop their learning in CSR, across all levels of their organisation, which deepens the CSR impact they are able to achieve.

CSR Europe

CSR Europe is the leading European business network for Corporate Social Responsibility with a membership of over 70 multinational corporations and 34 national partner organisations. Comprising over 4,500 European companies, the network serves as a platform to collaborate and shape the modern day business and political agenda through its leading Enterprise 2020 Initiative.

Its current work includes developing a framework to measure global responsibility"The GRID", 50+20 "Management education for the world", corporation of the 21st century, a young ambassadors programme, and a book series.

Habitat for Humanity International

Habitat for Humanity International is a global nonprofit Christian housing organization. It works with people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build and rehabilitate houses in partnership with families in need. Since 1976, Habitat has served over 500,000 families by building and improving homes, advocating for just housing policies, and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

Indonesia Business Links is a not for profit organization that aims to be the leading promoter of good corporate citizenship as well as giving prominent contribution to the creation of sound and ethical business practices in Indonesia by continuously encourage and assist corporations in implementing CSR strategies and programs.

Kenan Institute Asia

K.I.Asia is a Thailand-based, non-profit organization serving the sustainable development needs of the region. K.I.Asia’s team of more than 50 professionals draws upon a decade of experience in CSR, offering training, strategy development, program design, project implementation, evaluation and research services. We equip companies with practical tools to implement strategic corporate citizenship programs, and advise governments on CSR education and policy.

League of Corporate Foundations

The League of Corporate Foundations is a network of over 70 operating and grant-making corporate foundations and corporations that promotes and enhances the strategic practice of Corporate Social Responsibility among its members and the larger business community, towards sustained national development.

Makati Business Club

The Makati Business Club is a private non-stock, non-profit business association organized as a Forum for Constructive Ideas.  Founded in 1981, the MBC is composed of senior business executives representing the largest and most dynamic corporations in the Philippines. Its main thrust is to foster and promote the role of the business sector in national development efforts. It engages in policy advocacy and investment promotion, driven by credible and independent research and information services.

Management Association of the Philippines

The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) is a 61-year-old management organization whose 750 members represent a cross-section of CEOs, COOs and other top management practitioners from top local and multinational companies operating in the Philippines. MAP also counts some top management educators and government officials as its members. MAP has adopted “MAPping a Culture of Integrity” as its theme for 2011.

Mechai Viravaidya Foundation

Mr. Mechai Viravaidya has strived to empower the poor of Thailand by promoting family planning, preventing HIV/AIDS, eradicating poverty, providing a world-class education for the underprivileged youth, and fostering a culture of philanthropy amongst youth. In 2009, Mr. Mechai established the Mechai Viravaidya Foundation - a foundation that would specifically address the need for improved education and philanthropy amongst youth in Thailand.

Philippine Business for Social Progress

The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) was founded in 1970 by 50 industrialists who shared a common vision of reducing poverty through various social development programs. The first of its kind in Asia promulgating initiatives and best practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and today, has evolved into the largest corporate-led social development foundation in the Philippines.

Responsible Business Initiative – Pakistan

RBI is Pakistan’s first citizen-sector organization dedicated to creating cross-sectoral demand for CSR and enabling business to respond strategically and tangibly on Peace, Climate Change, Poverty, Green Growth, SCP issues through responsible practices. Since 1998, RBI has worked to build capacity among diverse partners, facilitating stakeholder engagement, action research and providing technical support. As founder member of SAFoRB , GRLI , APCSRgp and collaborating partner to many leading UN, CS, academic and trade associations, RBI has helped shape CSR Frameworks, Guidelines and Policies.

Sasin Centre for Sustainability Management

SCSM is dedicated to grooming future leaders in the area of sustainability management. Combining the principles of sustainable development, CSR, and King Bhumibol’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, sustainability management addresses the importance of all stakeholders to the long-term success of a business. SCSM emphasises the importance of partnerships that work toward social, environmental, and economic balance.

Singapore Compact for CSR

Initiated in 2005 by the National Tripartite Initiative on CSR, with SNEF and NTUC as the founder members, the Singapore Compact for CSR is the national society promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Singapore. The society functions as a multi-stakeholder platform in recognising the role and contributions of all CSR stakeholders.

Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is a chartered international organization, established in 1965, to promote cooperation in education, science and culture in Southeast Asia. SEAMEO develops and nurtures the capacities of human resources in Southeast Asia through its network of 20 specialist institutions that undertake training and research programmes in various fields of education, science and culture.
