Our three core CSR Fellows work with equally dynamic and competent researchers.  Together, they strive for excellence.

FELIPE B. ALFONSO is the Vice-Chairman of the AIM Scientific Research Foundation Board of Trustees and the AFCSR Executive Director and Executive Adviser of the AIM-Ramon V. del Rosario Sr. Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, Philippines.  He also sits on the Boards of a number of major business corporations and non-profit organizations.  He specializes in human behavior in organization for managers, general management, organizational development and corporate social responsibility.  He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Management and concurrently the President of the AIM Scientific Research Foundation (1991-99); as Associate Dean for Research (1982-88); and Associate Dean of the Center for Development Management (1988-90).  He has over forty years of collective experience in conducting management development programs for private and public entities in Southeast Asia.  Prof. Alfonso has an MBA from the New York University.

PROF. FRANCISCO L. ROMAN, JR. He is currently the AIM Dean for Research, and the Executive Director of the AIM-Ramon V. del Rosario, Sr. Center for Corporate Social Responsibility.   His fields of consulting and research are in Governance & Corporate Social Responsibility, Competitive and Cluster Development, and Family Corporations in the ASEAN (and GMS), with stints in Bihar, India and Bhutan.  Formerly, he was the USAID Chief-of-Party of the Mekong (GMS) Competitiveness Initiative, and Associate Dean for the Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, and Executive Director of the AIM Hills Governance Center.  Prof. Roman’s academic and other qualifications include a DBA in International Business (minor in Agribusiness); Harvard Business School; an MA in Economics (major in Economic Development, East West Center, Hawaii; an MBA (major in Export Marketing) from the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.  He has written over 400 cases, notes and articles.

Cristina Alarilla is a Research Consultant at the Asian Institute of Management Ramon V. del Rosario Sr. Center for Corporate Social Responsibility.  She has handled research and coordination tasks for the Center. She has seven years of research and documentation experience in the areas of governance, corporate social responsibility and health sector reform in the Philippines.  She has worked on various research projects funded by the World Bank, Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Secretariat, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, and Intel Corporation.

She obtained her Masters degree in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2005.
