The RVR Center is part of two global networks on CSR and corporate citizenship.
I. Global Network for Corporate Citizenship
The Global Network for Corporate Citizenship is an international alliance of leading corporate responsibility experts and "close to market" academic centers around the world, working together to advance research, advocacy and education on the changing role of business in society and to help build the capacity of businesses worldwide for sustainable value creation.
We are committed to:
- creating, sharing and disseminating relevant research on corporate citizenship issues and sustainable value creation practices worldwide
- designing and delivering educational programs that will help business implementing responsible, accountable, sustainable and responsive strategies and practices
- developing a global understanding of corporate citizenship, built on local expertise and practice
- understanding and redesigning the role of business in society towards a socially, ecologically and sustainable economy.
As the roles and responsibilities of business, civil society, governments and international institutions are shifting, there is a need for a new social contract. The global agenda of fighting poverty, promoting human rights, improving education and healthcare, fighting food, water and energy scarcity, climate change and other pressing challenges requires informed action across regions and sectors, including both new models of cross-sector collaboration and bold moves towards responsible, accountable, sustainable and responsive business practices.
The Global Network for Corporate Citizenship connects experts and centers as a global community designed to motivate, empower and support companies worldwide to tap their assets and strengths for creating sustainable value, for maximizing their benefit to society and to shareholders, and for becoming visible as part of the solution.

II. PRME - Principles for Responsible Management Education
The mission of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative is to inspire and champion responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally.
The PRME are inspired by internationally accepted values such as the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. They seek to establish a process of continuous improvement among institutions of management education in order to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century
In the current academic environment, corporate responsibility and sustainability have entered but not yet become embedded in the mainstream of business-related education. The PRME are therefore a timely global call for business schools and universities worldwide to gradually adapt their curricula, research, teaching methodologies and institutional strategies to the new business challenges and opportunities.
